Official Book Week around Australia was during Term 3, however with Stage 2 being on camp and the school preparing for External Validation at that time, we are hosting our Bobs Farm PS Book Week celebrations this week.
We will be holding our much-anticipated Book Week parade on Thursday, but to help get everyone inspired, Mrs Hodgson and Mrs Baxter are coming dressed as different book characters every day in the lead up.
Can you guess who we were today and which famous story we were from? If you guessed Dorothy and Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz, you would be correct.

Book Character Parade Thursday
Children are encouraged to come dressed as a book character (or Halloween character) on Thursday. They may stay in that costume all day, or bring other clothes to change into throughout the day. School uniform is not required on Thursday.
We will be holding a Cake Stall and Sausage Sizzle on Thursday.
If you're able to donate some goodies for the cake sale, please send them in on Thursday morning. Please don't feel pressured to do this, however, all donations will be gratefully accepted.
Children are asked to bring some gold coins to donate for the stall and sausages.
Families (siblings, parents, grandparents, neighbours etc) are all welcome to join us for the morning.
Please note, there will be NO Brekkie Club on Thursday morning as we will be preparing for the Book Week festivities.
