Term 3, Week 2, 2025
Welcome back to another term. What a busy one we've got ahead!
It was nice to return to some sunshine and a slightly dried-out playground. The water has taken a toll, though, with several areas still underwater, causing variations in ground levels on the oval. It's also created some access challenges, meaning the pine trees and skip bin haven't been removed yet. We've had some roof and gutter leakages as well, which are being addressed by the Department's assets and maintenance teams.
The classrooms and office spaces are gradually undergoing a tidy up, removing, rehoming and recycling items as needed. We will be hosting a couple of "Take your pick" days soon, where students and families will be invited to have a scrounge for items they want to take home, such as books, games and equipment. A HUGE thank you to Miss Ella, Miss Kris, Miss Kish and Mrs Moore for their hard work in sorting, culling and moving to help make our learning spaces more efficient and inviting.
When you visit the school next, make sure you pop in and see our freshly revamped timber sideboard. One of our incredibly talented parents, Jayde, took the cupboard home for the holidays and gave it a much-needed makeover. I think you'll all agree that it now looks modern and gorgeous. THANK YOU so much, Jayde, for your generosity and hard work. We think it looks amazing. We love it!
A huge congratulations to Mrs Burns and her family on the arrival of their adorable baby girl, Nina. We're so thrilled for you all.
Finally, make sure you browse through our newsletter pages to learn more about the range of activities and learning that have been happening around the school and what exciting opportunities we've got to look forward to.
Happy Term 3, everyone!

When you have the chess pieces but not the board, what do you do? You ask the principal for some chalk and create your own!
Then, when the principal comments that the handprints on your clothes look like crime scene chalk outlines, it sparks your creativity even more!
"Let's play detectives!"
Fun for all ages!
Mrs Burns and her family recently welcomed a new little delight into their home with the birth of their daughter, Nina.
Nina's big brother, Jack, is super proud and already very protective of his little sister.
CONGRATULATIONS, Burns Family.
Welcome to the world, gorgeous little Nina!
We all can't wait to meet you.
