Student Work

International Play has been buzzing with creativity and excitement in our classroom over the past fortnight! The students have taken on the role of librarians, working together to loan and borrow books, practicing responsibility and sharing. Our budding builders have put their fine motor skills to the test, using tools to drill and screw nuts and bolts—what a fantastic hands-on experience!

We’ve also introduced new manipulatives with endless possibilities, and it has been amazing to see what the children have created. From cars and bikes to flowers, crowns, and so much more, the imagination on display has been truly impressive.

Our Solar System unit has inspired some wonderful art, with students making their own planets using paint and marbles—this experience brought science and creativity together in a fun and engaging way. And, of course, our class favourite ‘Spot It’ has made its appearance again, challenging students’ sharp eyes and quick reflexes as they match objects with enthusiasm.

It’s been a joy to watch the children explore, create, and learn through play.

Our 3-6 students have been working hard in their literacy groups this term. They've dedicated themselves to improving their reading, spelling, and writing skills, and I am so proud of their progress. We've recently introduced a new literacy unit with a focus on space, which has sparked the students’ curiosity and enthusiasm. Their fascination with space has even spilled over into other key learning areas—students bring their questions and discoveries into our maths, art, and technology lessons, making connections across subjects and deepening their engagement with learning. It's wonderful to see their skills and confidence grow each week!
