I want to start by wishing Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers and carers who lovingly take on the role of Mum every day. I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine together, celebrating the magnificent job that mums do. Your love and dedication make such a difference in our students’ lives, and we truly appreciate all that you do.

I want to extend a huge thank you to our P&C who, as always, have gone above and beyond. They created the most impressive Mother’s Day stall, giving our students a special opportunity to shop for their mums. I am also pleased to share that the P&C has informed me they have applied for a grant to support our school—thank you for your ongoing commitment and support. 

I am grateful for the support I have received from parents while Mrs Baxter is away. These first three weeks of term have been eventful! I have had many opportunities to collaborate with parents on a variety of matters. This partnership highlights the strength we build when parents and the school communicate and work together as a team.

We also had our school photos recently. It was wonderful to see our students looking their best and proudly representing their school. Thank you to all families for preparing the students for this special day.

We also had a fabulous small schools athletics carnival. Our students represented the school with great pride and respect. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best and showing true sportsmanship. Thank you to all the parents that made the day possible by driving our students to and from the carnival. It was lovely for the staff to have little chats outside of the school grounds.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Together, we continue to create a positive and nurturing environment for our students to thrive. 

I want to end by welcoming back our reigning principal, Mrs Baxter, who we have all missed incredibly. Her bright and bubbly presence will be very warmly welcomed back at Bobs Farm Public School.
