Lesson 3 focuses on student performance.
Students perform an accompaniment to the music of The High Road.
Learning intentions
Learning intentions
Through this lesson:
all students will recognise that music has a beat
most students will perform confidently, maintaining the beat
some students will need teacher support to maintain the beat.
Assessment opportunities
Assessment opportunities
Student progress can be monitored through a range of assessment strategies and differentiated according to individual student needs. Assessment opportunities could include:
demonstrating that a student can maintain the beat performing to the different sections of The High Road
use of accurate counting.
