Laser Cutting

In the TAS faculty we have a 50w Universal Laser System laser cutter. With this laser cutter we are able to emboss and cut a range of materials such as: timber, fabric and acrylic.

Students use Adobe Illustrator to design their laser files. (Students have free access to the Adobe suite by using their DoE credentials to log into it). Students learn how to select and prepare their materials to be lasered.
