We have two 3D printers in the TAS faculty at DHS. These are used for STEM learning activities, extra curricular activities and in classes (Design & Technology and Industrial Technology). Students use CAD software to design original and prototype products before manufacturing these on a larger scale.
Students learn all components of 3D printing, from using CAD software, slicing their design to 3D print, selecting the correct type of filaments to setting up and running the 3D printers.
