From 2020, students in NSW must meet a minimum standard of literacy and numeracy to be eligible for the HSC credential. This complies with Commonwealth Govt policy and is part of a strategy to boost literacy and numeracy.

This is important as we know that people with better literacy and numeracy have improved life outcomes which is what we want for all of our students at CHS.

To show that you have met the minimum standard, you must sit an online test. We want you to know we have this covered at CHS, we have excellent programs and support systems in place to make this happen, including opportunities to practice in class and online, take the test at school and of course be supported after the test if that is what you need.
