The packages on the following pages have been designed to meet the needs of all our students. They cater for those who plan to enter university, TAFE or the workforce, or a combination of these after leaving school.

Each package has a career area focus and lists the most relevant subjects for that area. It has a few subjects that you are strongly advised to select and lists other options, depending on specific interests and abilities.

The clusters of subjects will assist students to:

¸ Choose the right pathway for their abilities, needs and interests

¸ Derive maximum benefit from their senior years at school

¸ Get a head start on preparing for a career

¸ Enjoy successful senior years of school

¸ Decide whether they want a ATAR or not.

NOTE THAT EACH SUBJECT REQUIRES A CERTAIN NUMBER OF STUDENTS TO CHOOSE THAT SUBJECT BEFORE IT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THE TIMETABLE.

You must have at least 12 units of Year 11 and 10 units in Year 12.

Only one VET (Vocational Education and Training) Course can be used in the calculation of an ATAR for university entry.

Students selecting these packages may do a significant amount of training in the workplace as part of the course.
