STEM Skills

STEM is not a separate subject in its own right and it is not just about learning content knowledge. It is an innovative approach to teaching and learning that combines many of the skills from the disciplines of maths, science and engineering and provides students with an opportunity to apply their learning to real world problems and deepen understanding.

Engineering skills

There are natural connections between the skills needed to succeed in science, mathematics and engineering. STEM brings together and develops fluency in these skills through teaching students to design and build solutions to real world problems.
