Waste Handbook: A Practical Guide to Waste Separation in Schools (By DoE 2023)

Bin Trim is a useful APP to help collate waste data in your school. It allows you see graphs of types of rubbish and make an action plan. Use the link below to register your school. https://apps.epa.nsw.gov.au/bintrimapp/

You will need to add an ABN to use the site. All schools have the same ABN which is 18246198266

If conducting a waste audit record the volumes of all the different waste categories in this sheet below. These would normally go into a Skip Bin so when entering data for 'Describe your bin' make sure you choose a skip bin (try to find out its size- there is a list of pictures to help you decide).

If you unsure of costs of bin service just enter $1 other wise the App wont let you progress (enter the costs at a later date)

When enetring your data ensyre you chose Lites as your preffered unit
