For those who opt out of SRE, Special Ethics Education (SEE) is on offer. Students who opt out of SRE and SEE, participate in school-based activities being held at this time, taught by teachers at the school.

Catholic Scripture Teachers are volunteers who are approved, authorised and trained by the local Parish and Dioceses of the Catholic Church. Catholic SRE teaching programs are approved by the Bishop of the Diocese in liaison with educational experts, for use by Scripture Teachers. Programs contain suitable lessons for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Ethics teachers are volunteers who are approved, authorised and trained by Primary Ethics, the service provider approved by the NSW Department of Education. Curriculum and access to teaching resources is provided. In ethics classes, children learn how to think logically, disagree respectfully and support their arguments with evidence. Children discuss topics such as: imagining how others feel, treatment of living things, how to disagree in a respectful way and fairness. Please visit https://primaryethics.com.au

For those who opt out of SRE and SEE, students participate in school-based well being activities held at this time and taught by teachers at the school. Activities draw from units in the Personal Development stand of the NSW PD Health and PE Syllabus and the Department's Well Being Framework. We access Smiling Minds program in class.
