School Routines

School times

Students must attend from 9:00am-3:00pm

8:30 am Teacher on duty
8:55 am Students assemble in lines
9:00 am Teachers walk students to class
11:00 am Break 1 - Recess and play
11:30 am Middle session
1:00 pm Break 2 - Lunch and play (this includes supervised eating time)
1:50 pm Afternoon session
3:00 pm School Finishes
3:15pm Children remaining on school site are directed to the office and parents or carers contacted

Upon Arriving At School

Students report to the Friendship House in the playground where they leave their bags. Parents may deliver children to the school gate or to this area, before leaving in the morning.

Before School Routines

A teacher supervises in the playground daily from 8.30 am. Students are not to be at school prior to 8.30 am, unless attending Jigsaw Before-School Care.

Please note that between 8.30 am-8.40 am it is not a time for active play.

The 8.40 am bell signals 15 minutes of active play.

At The End Of The Day

Children must be picked up no later than 3 pm. Please inform the class teacher & the school office of arrangements in place for collecting your child from school. Parents are requested to advise us in person or by phone of any variations to this.

If running late, parents must contact the school office prior to 3 pm on the day. Students go to the front office if not picked up on time.

Please note that there is no formal supervision provided by the school after 3 pm. Parents are advised to contact Jigsaw OOSH for casual placements when required at short notice.
