We’re excited to announce that we are now taking registrations for the Yarrawarrah Band Program for 2026!
Our aim is to launch a vibrant band program that gives students the opportunity to learn an instrument, make music together, and build teamwork and confidence through performance.
Program Structure (Proposed):
THIS WILL BE SUBJECT TO MEETING MINIMUM CLASS SIZE , TUTOR AVAILABILITY & STUDENT INSTRUMENT CONFIGURATION.
Band Rehearsal (All Students): Thursdays afternoon – 3:30– 4:30
Instrumental Lessons: time dedicated to small-group instrumental lessons will vary from week to week to make the most of our time.
Requirement: Students must participate for the full hour each week.
Program Fee: $250 per term
(includes 1-hour weekly session made up of playing together as a band and also smaller instrument specific tutorials)
Instrument Access:
Upscale Music recommends to hire or purchase one of our instruments because we know they will be suitable for students, clean and working properly. We can assist families with instrument hire through Upscale Music by contacting the office on 0435456786 or by indicating that you would like to hire or purchase on the enrolment form. Alternatively, Yarrawarrah Public School also has instruments available for students to use.

Once we have confirmed interest from families , we will contact families to confirm details and send invoices. Payment will be due by the end of Term 4, 2025.(to be confirmed).

Upscale Music
Our Zumba family is coming together again to have a fun and festive fiesta as we fundraise for Project Youth.
Sunday 30th November, 2 - 4pm at Yarrawarrah Public School, with multiple Zumba instructors from Sutherlandshire and beyond! Dance your way into the festive season, with a 90 minute dance party, followed by a raffle, drinks and snacks; all for a great cause.

Project Youth helps young people deal with and get through difficult situations. Supporting young people aged 12-25 in the Sutherland Shire, George’s River, and Bayside areas, they aim to create a future where all young people can thrive. Their services focus on housing and homelessness, education, employment and training and early intervention.
