Work Placement

Work Placement opportunities are a great way for students to go and try different jobs for a week at a time. It allows them to experience the industry they are interested and make an informed decision at to whether they would like to continue in that field. That first hand experience is invaluable.

If your child is interested in completing work placement please contact the careers adviser for information on how to set this up.

Student attendance is covered by the school during work experience weeks and insurance is provided through the department of education. Students are not paid by the employer whilst on work placement.

Please note due to COVID there may be times the school is not allowed to run this program due to the safety of your child.
