Program Currently On Hold
The Mosman High School GAT Tennis Development Program aims to build junior tennis skills from beginners to competitive club tennis players.
The program began at the beginning of 2014 with 8 students training from 8:15 to 9:15 in the ‘late morning’ each week during the school term. In 2015 the program was expanded to 2 groups, starting with a beginners group running from 7:15 to 8:15am.
The GAT Tennis Program is open to students from years 7-10. It’s a wonderful social game you can play well beyond school. Students are chosen after trials at the beginning of the year. We can only have a maximum of 16 students over the two sessions. Students are trained by qualified coach Mark Hiscoke, who is involved in Northern Beaches Tennis and has trained students in other Sydney schools.

Cost Estimations
Currently $12 per week for the training session.
Parents are invoiced by the term.
Whilst the parent volunteer position is vacant, the table tennis program is on hold.
Mosman High School Table Tennis Club aims to build skills to competitive NSW Interschool Competition levels while providing an environment for social table tennis playing.
The GAT Table Tennis program was started in 2014 and consists of between 8 and 12 players. It is open to boys and girls from Year 7-10, whether new to table tennis or with some experience. At present there is no selection process. In 2015 players from the club had success at the Knockout Competition, with Mosman High players progressing through three of the four rounds and being placed third overall. All of the club members competed in the NSW Secondary Schoolboys Shield event in 2015, being placed in the top five out of 32 teams. The club also caters for players who wish to only play socially.
