3/4 Power Rangers
This term, Stage 2 are exploring the fascinating world of minibeasts. During our morning routine, we have been highly engaged in building new schema about these marvellous creatures. We have also enjoyed studying our core text, 'Charlotte's Web' by E. B. White. This classic text is provoking rich discussions around predicting, inferring, making connections, and characterisation.
3/4 Champions
3/4Ch have immersed themselves in the amazing world of minibeasts. Through a range of learning experiences, they have discovered the characteristics, habitats and adaptations that help these creatures survive. In Creative Arts, students expressed their learning through vibrant minibeast artworks, experimenting with colour, shape and pattern. They also recreated the Cicada artwork by Pete Cromer, drawing inspiration from his distinctive artistic style.
3/4 Captain America
Students in 3/4C have been working in groups to design their own minibeast habitats. During the design phase, students have been researching minibeasts and carefully planning features that would help create a safe and suitable environment for them. It has been great to see their creativity and teamwork throughout the project.
