KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION FOR 2026
At Homebush Public School, we’re committed to making sure every new student feels welcome, supported, and excited to begin their learning journey.
We warmly invite you to attend our kindergarten orientation sessions. These sessions are a great way for children and their families to meet our caring staff, connect with other families, and become familiar with the school environment.
You’ll also receive helpful information about our daily routines, expectations, and procedures—everything you need to feel confident and prepared for the start of school.
During our orientation sessions, Kindergarten 2026 students will have the opportunity to spend time in the kindergarten classrooms, supported by our caring teachers and support staff.
Our school leaders will be there to greet you and help guide students to their rooms, where teachers will begin getting to know each child. These early observations help us thoughtfully create balanced and supportive class groups for 2026.
Please remember to pack a bottle of water and a small snack for your child to enjoy during each session.

Wednesday 19 October 9:15-10:55am
Wednesday 5 November 9:15-10:55am
RSVP is essential - invitations will be sent to families in August/September 2025. RSVP with this link.

All families attending Orientation also receive a comprehensive Kindy Pack, with information on starting school, school routines, bell times, uniform requirements, and much more.
