Year 10 Elective Visual Arts

In Year 10, students dive into a dynamic mix of themes and materials, exploring how art can spark imagination and make a statement. Throughout the year, they unpack social issues, experiment with the dreamlike world of surreal photography, and bring ancient stories to life through myths and legends. Whilst some students study the inventive, industrial universe of steampunk, where creativity meets machinery.

Working across photography, ceramics, and mixed media, students refine their technical skills while developing a personal visual style. It’s a year of bold ideas, hands-on making, and discovering the power of art to challenge, inspire, and reimagine the world.
