Picture Books

These books were written and created by Stage 2 students at Bermagui Public School. Their creativity, enthusiasm and love of learning shines through from every page.  

The books were created in partnership with Merriman’s Local Aboriginal Land Council and Red Cross Australia. Merriman’s received a grant from Aboriginal Affairs NSW Languages Community Investments Program, and they used some of this grant to support the publication of these books.

Uncle Gordy Campbell helped with these books every step of the way, teaching all of us language and culture. Without Gordy’s passion, knowledge and help these books would not exist.
