Happy 140th birthday to our beloved Gardeners Road Public School. As a teacher who has had the joy of being part of this incredible journey for the past 17 years, I am filled with pride and gratitude. Over more than a century, our school has been a beacon of knowledge, a cradle of friendship, and a nurturing ground for countless young minds.

From the chalkboards from the past to the interactive smartboards of today, our commitment to education has stood the test of time. I've witnessed generations of students walk through these halls, each leaving a unique imprint on our school's history.

Happy 140th Gardeners Road Public School here's to the legacy we've built together and the countless stories yet to be written in the chapters of our school's history!

Happy 140th Birthday Gardeners Road! It has been an absolute joy to work on the 140th Anniversary celebrations and website. For the past 20 years I have been fortunate enough to teach and be connected to Gardeners Road Public School. I have been able to work with some incredible and inspiring educators, students and have loved being a part of this multicultural and dynamic community. 

In working on our schools 140th Anniversary I feel even more connected to everyone's shared story. One of the things that stands out about Gardeners Roads history is the commitment of many teachers who have devoted their time and energy to the school, the community and especially its students. I have loved seeing students and teachers both past and present and hearing about their memories and their stories. 

I think everyone who has ever been part of Gardeners Road will agree that its the students that make Gardeners Road such a wonderful school to be part of.

Pam Georgoulas - Learning Support Teacher 1997

Ms Pam Georgoulas has worked with hundreds of students and assisted them in their learning over her many years at Gardeners Road. Her gentle manner, generous nature and kindness towards the staff and students makes her one of the most special teachers at Gardeners Road Public School. As one of the longest serving teachers at our school we acknowledge her continued service and contribution to our school and community.
