The elements of game
When examining how games can be used to enhance educational outcomes it is useful to think about the elements of games that make them engaging.
I suspect that most teachers use some or all of these elements in their teaching already, without thinking of them specifically as gamification strategies.
For each of the elements I have endeavoured to think about the types of resources that could be made with them and suggested some of the tools or games that could be used. I do not claim to have created a truly comprehensive list and would welcome ideas in the suggestions box.
This page is a work in progress and I will be refining the details for each element of game as time goes on.
