Best Start

All Kindergarten students complete the Best Start Assessment during their first week at school. The assessment helps teachers identify the literacy and numeracy skills of each student.

At Mascot Public School the Best Start Assessment Period is from Thursday 1 Feb to Monday 5 Feb. Your child will be given a session time that will go for approximately 3 hours.

More information regarding Best Start times will be sent out towards the end of the year via email.
