Wattamolla is a beautiful place. It sits in Dharawal Country. The Dharawal are the traditional custodians of Wattamolla in the Royal National Park. There is evidence of Aboriginal use of Wattamolla and nearby sites that goes back many thousands of years, such as rock shelters, middens, rock engravings and tool fragments.

View larger map and use street view to take a virtual walk around the picnic area and lagoon (use VR goggles if you have them!). View Google images at Providential Lookout.
Calculate directions to Wattamolla from your home or your school. Record how long it will take to get there.
Plan a day trip to Wattamolla with your family or friends. Wattamolla doesn't have the same resources and amenities as a city park. For example, there is no drinking water available.
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service website about Wattamolla picnic area has a lot of information to help you plan.
