The Creative Arts Extra-Curricular Intensive Studio Program runs before school. Auditioned students are encouraged to become part of one or more of the programs available as these offer opportunities to extend skills in areas of expertise.

Auditions will occur on the day and time when the program will run.
All auditions will be held in the Creative Arts block (G Block). Please go to G block for your audition.
ART EDGE | TUESDAY JUNIORS (7-9) & THURSDAY SENIORS (10 - 12) 7:30am - 8:55am | $120 per year
Art Edge offers a myriad of opportunities for students eager to push their boundaries, expand their horizons, and showcase their art to the world by entering artworks in various competitions and exhibitions.
ARTS IN THE COMMUNITY | STUDENTS YEARS 8-10 | WEDNESDAY 1:00 pm – 2:35 pm | $40 per Term
Arts in the community is a site-specific studio experience that builds greater community connection to the Creative Arts.
Students partake in the design and production of public artworks and produce works responding to a site.
DEADLY ARTS STUDIO | FIRST NATION STUDENTS YEARS 7-12 | T1-T4 FRIDAY 3:30pm -5:30pm | FREE
This Studio is supported by the Department of Education Deadly Arts Grant.
In collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professional artists and educators, First Nations students enhance their ability to express themselves authentically and creatively across diverse visual media.
PENRITH OPEN STUDIOS | STUDENTS YEARS 7-12 | T2 AND T3 MONDAYS 3:30 – 5:30pm | FREE
This project is supported by Create NSW’s Audience Development Fund, a devolved funding program administered by Museums & Galleries of NSW on behalf of the NSW Government.
Penrith Open Studios offers mentorship from local artists, opportunities to explore new techniques, and support for developing new bodies of work. A group exhibition is held at Penrith Regional Gallery. Application: Penrith Regional Gallery Online application.
MEDIA TEAM | STUDENTS YEARS 7-12 | WHOLE SCHOOL EVENT DAYS | FREE
The School Media Team gives students a chance to develop photography skills while capturing school events.
FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL| STUDENTS YEARS 7-12 | YEARLY | FREE
Friends of the Festival gives students a firsthand opportunity to experience arts industry roles while helping bring a regional arts event to life.
