Ms Borland is an enthusiastic teacher and Year Advisor who has a lifelong love of learning. Since beginning at Elderslie High School, she has taught across multiple subjects in the HSIE faculty, however, she specialises in History. She is passionate about incorporating new technologies into the classroom to support students in their learning. Through her teaching practices, she also hopes to instil in her students a love of learning.
Mr. A Elphege is a dedicated educator who fosters dynamic and inclusive learning environments. His expertise spans a variety of subjects, including Mathematics, Drama and Computing. Mr. Elphege is passionate about integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning experiences. Since he arrived at EHS, he has been a part of the innovative Tech Elect classes, ensuring that every student can achieve their full potential. Under his guidance, the Tech Elect program strives to deliver equitable learning outcomes, making education more accessible and engaging for all students
Ms Phillips is an English teacher who is passionate about reading and writing. She is new to Elderslie High School and is the Head Teacher of English and Languages. Although she is new to the Tech Elect team, Ms Phillips has experimented with different types of innovative learning throughout her career with a focus on the 21st century learning skills of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. Ms Phillips also values the learning of empathy and helping students access their learning and build their skills in new and different ways.
Ms Bun has been working at Elderslie High School since 2017. Her teaching areas are English and Japanese. She is passionate towards learning about different cultures, teaching intercultural understanding and enlightening students about their role as a global citizen living in the contemporary world. She believes that the key to respecting others must first come from learning how to appreciate who you are as an individual. She is very eager to participate in this new format of learning as it will provide her with a more realistic platform to teach students about the global world in which they live in.
Mr Goodsell is a Year Advisor and Geography teacher passionate about supporting students in making the most of the amazing opportunities at Elderslie High School. He can be found in the HSIE staffroom and can assist students through the sometimes challenging high school years.
Mrs Siope has a background in Performing Arts and Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (PDHPE). She has been the relieving Deputy Principal at EHS for the past one and a half years. She is passionate about using technology to develop innovative learning experiences that foster communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
The Technical Support Officer (TSO) provides support for students and staff at the school. The TSO is able to support students setting up their device, enrolling into our safe online environment and other basic needs.
