The NSW Department of Education (D.o.E.) homepage is like your 'one-stop-shop' for all your learning needs. Through here, you can access resources such as your school emails, library resources as well as Google and Microsoft applications (apps).
DISCUSSION...
Why don't we use personal emails or other external sites for school communication?
By using NSW D.o.E. methods of communication, we work together to maintain the privacy and security of all staff, students and other members of our department. It is easier to recognise who we are communicating with and to monitor collaboration. As highlighted by Kuznetsova and Azhmukhamedov (2020) we all need to work in the digital learning environment to keep information confidential, maintain integrity, ensure accessibility, and verify that the sources are authentic.
Where do I start?
The following video (Leeson, 2024b) provides some insight into how to access your school resources and why they are important. Follow these key steps to find out where to begin your online learning journey.
