English Studies

The English Studies Course is designed for students who wish to refine their skills to enter the workforce or gain an apprenticeship for a trade career.

It will give students highly relevant skills for their careers and and everyday life.

The course involves:

• Learning work place skills

• Creating resumes

• Communicating in the workplace

• Taking part in mock interviews to develop confidence and to be work ready

• Travel documents

It is a course for students who wish to be awarded a Higher School Certificate but who are seeking an alternative to the English Standard course.

Students can sit an optional HSC exam if they wish to receive an ATAR.
