8:30am. Our morning bell rings at 8:40am. The students have the 5 minutes of a fun song to walk from the playground to their classroom to line up by 8:45am. It is vital to set up good punctuality routines with your child straight away. If they are late to school, they miss the most important part of the day, they are on the back foot and can feel flustered or anxious about what they have missed. Now is the time to set up the importance of punctuality that will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
The home bell rings at 2:45pm. Please ensure you have a plan with your child and their teacher so that everyone knows where you will meet each afternoon. If you are going to be late to pick them up for any reason, please contact the office as soon as possible so that message can be given to the teacher with plenty of notice to ensure they go to the office. You can collect them from the office when you arrive.
Our school gates are open from 8:15am - 9:15am. They are then locked until 2:15pm where they are open til 3:10pm. If you need to come to the school for any reason outside these times, please use the Barnier Drive gate (at the top of the stairs) and report to the office. No adults are allowed to enter school grounds without reporting to the office. This is both for your safety and the safety of the children.
There are teachers on duty in the playground from 8:15am each morning. Please do not bring your child to school any earlier, as there is no supervision for them.
We have 2 companies that provide before and after school programs for parents. Please see our "Before and After School Care" page for details.

If your child arrives after 8:45am, please accompany them to the office to collect a LATE PASS. If they arrive at class without a LATE PASS, they will be sent back to the office to collect one.
As per Department of Education Policy, a reasonable explanation for the late arrival must be given by the parent. Sleeping in, bad weather or traffic is not a reasonable explanation, as parents are expected to have their children to school on time every day. Please ensure this does not become a habit. Punctuality is so important and good habits start now.
If your child is sick, they should not come to school (see COVID guidelines for current policies and plans). Please keep them at home until they no longer have symptoms that can be spread among others. Once they are ready to return to school, please provide the school with a valid explanation of the reason for absence via The Sentral Parent Portal, via email to the school or via a note to the teacher.
