K.C. Boyd (The Boss Librarian) had a super lineup of virtual learning specifically for school librarians in August! This was a great set of sessions that have now been published here. Please check them out and view the ones most relevant to you.

AASL23 Notes

The AASL National Conference was pretty awesome this past week! Over 50 Kentucky school librarians attended, and many presented! A few of those Kentucky folks took notes in this document (I still need to add some of mine). There's also this document that was shared more widely. Another option to see some of the cool stuff is to search the X for #AASL23.

Start planning NOW to make it to St. Louis in 2025. It really is the most focused set of learning and networking for school librarians.

Adobe Education has some cool-looking training coming up. Many of them are FREE. Adobe Express for computers/Chromebooks was recently updated, and it's an awesome option for you and your students to create all kinds of content (video, too!).

KYVL Reminder: Kentucky Virtual Library invoices were sent to districts for the 23/24 school year. Unfortunately, 22/23 was the last year for reimbursement from KDE. SLC: The bad news is that School Library Connection is no longer publishing new content. A small bit of good news is that we have access to all their online content for another year. There are 3300 articles on almost any school library topic, 65 webinars, and 46 self-paced courses. https://www.schoollibraryconnection.com/ Let me know if you need the username and password.
