Successfully Conducted Seminar to Observe World Water Day

A seminar on the Conservation of Water was recently held on 22nd March by Shari Middle Secondary School of Paro to observe World Water Day. The seminar began at the assembly ground on a bright and beautiful morning. The programme was mainly held to educate the audience which included the students as well as the teachers. It was an event where talks on the conservation of water, sustainable management of it and solving water and sanitation crisis were given by some of the members of the Environment Club. The highlight of the day were the stories of Yasin who gave his land to build a basin for the commodity and an animation starring the humming bird. By the end of the seminar, an act was performed by some of the students on “Save water, Save Earth’’
The seminar was gracefully as well as successfully conducted and also managed to import the importance water in one's life. Beside being proud of the students hard work, the Principal hopes to conduct such programmes like this in future.
