Arriving at Scola Secondaria "Padre Nicolo Vaccina"
Presentation of the Italian school system and visiting the school with Erasmus students.
Visiting Alberobello
Alberobello, with its famous trulli, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1996.
Day 20 February
School activities
History class: we learnt how to say clothes vocabulary in Italian, English and Spanish; Robotics with Felice and Francesco, where we were teached how to design with Ino-Bot.
Visiting Andria Castel del Monte
The Castel del Monte, also declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built by Frederick II and is the only one due to its octagonal plan. The students were our guides.
Gianpaolo, the best dancer bachata teacher. We enjoyed a master class in his academy.
Day 21 February
School activities
English Role-plays with Rosemary; English class with Rosaria and Marianna; Italian language class with Tina.
Visiting Trani and Matera
Trani, a beautiful city located on the Apulian coast, with its delicious seafood gastronomy.
Matera, in the Basilicata region, is built on the rock and is a city of undeniable charm.
Day 22 February
School activities
Zspace (augmented reality) with Felice; exhibition about Autism at Museo Diocesano; History class with Elisabetta.
Scrolling Andria
We visited the old town of Andria together with our Erasmus colleagues.
We could buy and taste a typical sweet from Andria called confetto. ¡¡¡¡😋, delicious!!!!
At night, we had an incredible dinner with our Italian partners in Andria.
Day 23 February
School activities
Epic game with Natalia; Science activity with Anna; Body percussion inclusive lesson with Michele; French and civic education with Agata. Job shadowing certifications.
Visiting Polignano a Mare
Polignano a Mare, hometown of the singer Domenico Modugno, has some of the most beautiful beaches in Apulia.
