Introducing candygram

During the month of December 2022, the CandyGram activity took place, aimed at both students and teachers, as well as non-teaching staff. It consisted of writing a message of gratitude, affection, or recognition for the year's work on a card, to which a candy was added.

The printing of the cards was financed by the Parents Association (AMPA) and the candies were sponsored by Fundación el Mundo del Superdotado and the high school own resources. International Baccalaureate students, as part of their Activity and Service program, were in charge of the sales for ten days during the morning shift, while volunteer students handled it in the afternoon and evening shifts. More than 800 cards were printed and distributed, and in the end, the proceeds, totaling over 600 euros, were donated to the Soup Kitchen of Arganzuela.

This is the first year that the activity was carried out, and the evaluation is highly satisfactory, as the Candygram activity had a positive impact by fostering communication, spreading happiness, promoting kindness, enhancing teamwork, and adding a touch of sweetness to IES Cervantes.
