Programa Bilingüe
Nuestro colegio contempla desde el curso 2007-2008 el Programa Bilingüe de la Comunidad de Madrid dentro de su Proyecto Educativo. Se aplica a todos los cursos de Educación Primaria y en Educación Infantil.
Fomentamos en los alumnos su capacidad para emplear un segundo idioma, la lengua inglesa, como herramienta para aprender, realizar actividades y proyectos de diferentes áreas (science, art & craft, música y educación física) al mismo tiempo que aprenden aspectos culturales y valores como la tolerancia. Trabajamos en coordinación con los profesores de las áreas de español para lograr que los alumnos adquieran un aprendizaje significativo y multidisciplinar, trabajando en el mismo proyecto y empleado el idioma que corresponda según el área de trabajo.
Comprobamos cada curso los innumerables aspectos positivos del programa: los alumnos participan con entusiasmo en las diferentes actividades y celebraciones relacionadas con la cultura anglosajona, se relacionan de forma espontánea con sus profesores y asistentes de conversación y, en general, se expresan con naturalidad en ambos idiomas gracias al “ambiente bilingüe” que se respira en el centro.
Our school has included the Communidad de Madrid Bilingual Program since the 2007-08 school year in the School Educational Proyect. It is fully applied in Pre-primary and Primary Education.
We foster in our students the capacity to express themselves in a second language, English, as a tool for learning, completing activities and doing projects in various subjects (Science, Arts and Crafts, Music and Physical Education) while learning about different cultures and values of tolerance. We work as a team, together with the Spanish teachers to enhance a multi disciplinar and significant learning in our students, using naturally the language that corresponds depending on the working area.
After all these years of bilingual education, we can confim the numerous positive aspects of this program: the students participate enthusiastically in the different activities and celebrations related to spaeking countries' cultures, they creaate natural bonds with their teachers and English language assistants and, in general, express themselves naturally in both languages. Without a doubt, the comfort that our students feel in using both languages is thanks to the 'bilingual environment' that surrounds and fills our school.

Los auxiliares de conversación, integrados como agentes activos en nuestro programa, son un recurso de gran valor para que nuestros alumnos adquieran un aprendizaje significativo.

Preparamos a nuestros alumnos desde los 3 años para emplear el segundo idioma de forma natural y trabajar los saberes básicos en ambos idiomas. Fomentamos el aprendizaje competencial que permita a nuestros alumnos desenvolverse en un entorno global.
Además del área de lengua inglesa, las áreas de ciencias naturales, ciencias sociales, educación artística (música y plástica) y educación física se imparten en lengua inglesa.
We prepare our students since they are 3 to use a second language in a natural way and to work on the basic knowledge in both languages.
We foster competence learning which will allow our students to deal with a global environment.
Apart from English as a Second Language, the subjects Natural Science, Social Science, Artistic Education (Music and Art & Craft) and Physical Education are taught in English.
Pruebas externas
Nuestros alumnos se preparan a lo largo de primaria para la prueba final del programa bilingüe en 6º que permite su acceso a la Educación Secundaria Bilingüe. El aprendizaje natural del segundo idioma y la práctica activa de la prueba en sus cuatro destrezas garantizan los buenos resultados obtenidos por nuestros alumnos en las convocatorias de la prueba en los cursos anteriores.
Al final de la educación primaria bilingüe, los alumnos han adquirido un nivel B2 del Marco Común Europeo de las Lenguas.
External examination
Our students practice along all levels of primary the Bilingual Programme final test in 6th grade which allows their access to Secondary Bilingual Education. Natural Second Language Acquisition and active training of the test in the four skills guarantees the good results obtained by our students in the previous years test.
At the end of the Bilingual Primary Education, students achieve a B2 level in the Common European Frame of Reference of Languages.
