About Our School

Sanderson’s Wynd Primary School, Tranent opened in August 2007 using the old Tranent Primary School building. On the 1st of September 2008 we moved to our new school building, which is home to our Nursery, The Hub (East Lothian’s provision for pupils with severe complex needs) and 12 classes, P1 – P7.

We have a community wing and an Early Years Centre with rooms for Homestart and Children 1st.
