MGS INCLUSION AND NURTURE
RELATIONSHIPS MATTER. INCLUSION IS FOR EVERYONE.
A WARM WELCOME to Inclusion and Nurture.
At MGS we have a team of enthusiastic and friendly staff who are committed to getting it right for all the young people we work with. We have staff from different backgrounds, including a PE teacher, an Art graduate, an RME and Modern Studies teacher and a Home Economics teacher.
Positive relationships are key for the staff in Inclusion and Nurture and we work hard with young people and parents and carers to make them feel welcome to allow them to access learning in the way that we know they are able to.
Unfortunately, many young people at MGS experience barriers to their learning, including additional support needs, emotional dysregulation, poverty and disengagement from school and we work hard to find strategies and supports that allow all young people to achieve their potential at Musselburgh Grammar School, allowing them the skills to allow them to succeed in the future.
