Families can self-refer by emailing: familiestogether@eastlothian.gov.uk or we can support you to refer.
Please let us know if your family would benefit from support which alleviates financial pressures, for some of our families this is due to short term circumstances and for others it is long term. We are often approached with support offers for families and we are always keen to offer this to those who would benefit. Examples include support with Christmas presents, financial support at Christmas and access to seasonal treats such as Easter Eggs and advent calendars.
East Lothian’s Children’s Speech and Language Therapy encourage families to get In touch with them if they have concerns about their child’s speech, language or communication. You can call them on 0131 446 4136 on Tuesdays between 1.30-4pm.
Some families may wish to explore the possibility of working in collaboration with a health professional to support their young person. This might include:

Some parents or carers may wish to request a neurodevelopmental assessment via a referral to the Single Point of Access. The clinicians ask that referrals are written by school in collaboration with families rather than by Health Visitors or doctor who will not know your child as well.

This is East Lothian's Children & Young People Mental Health and Wellbeing information point. This site is intended to provide information and support for children and young people, as well as for families and staff supporting young people.
The key aim of this website is to help adults to support children and young people with their bereavement, loss and grief. It ultimately looks to build confidence in individuals and capacity across our school communities, through developing staff knowledge and understanding around bereavement, loss and grief.
