"The goal of interpersonal relationships is not to win, but to achieve harmony,Â
to contribute to the community, and to live in accordance with one’s convictions."
— Ichiro Kishimi, The Courage to Be Disliked
Dear Landing Trail Families,
As we conclude another incredible school year, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for your ongoing support, trust, and partnership. Together, we’ve created a vibrant and caring school community where students can grow, learn, and thrive.
This year has been filled with meaningful moments, from academic achievements and leadership milestones to community events and creative celebrations. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our staff, the generosity of our volunteers, and the unwavering encouragement from our families.
Class placements for the 2024–2025 school year will be communicated to families by June 30 at 4:00 p.m. Please watch your inbox. An August newsletter will also be sent out with all the information you’ll need to help your child start the new year.
Until then, I wish you and your family a safe, restful, and joy-filled summer. May it be full of new adventures and time well spent with those you love.
With gratitude, Â
Louise Loh, Principal Â

Dear Landing Trail School Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the families of Landing Trail School. I have loved working with our school community, and getting know the students and families. I look forward to maintaining connections with our grade four students as we transition together. As I move from Landing Trail to become Vice Principal at Gibbons School, I would like to warmly welcome Mrs. Larsen to our school, as acting Vice Principal for the fall.Â

Hello Landing Trail Families,Â
My name is Tarra Larson, and I am excited to introduce myself as the Acting Vice Principal at Landing Trail School for the beginning of the 2025- 2026 school year. I’ve spent my entire career working with young learners in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4, and I am passionate about fostering inclusive, supportive environments where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to learn.
Building strong relationships is at the heart of everything I do. I believe that open communication and collaboration between home and school are essential to student success, and I look forward to working alongside you to support your child’s growth and well-being. I can’t wait to connect with you and your children in the hallways, classrooms, and at school events. Wishing you all a wonderful summer full of rest, joy, and all the good things!
Sincerely,Â
Mrs. Larson
