The Library Leader Team sponsored a fun day of celebrating creativity. Students were encouraged to wear dots to school and be creative in the library during breaks by making dots for International Dot Day.
International Dot Day, celebrated annually on September 15th, is a global movement that encourages creativity, courage, and collaboration, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' children's book, The Dot. The book tells the story of a student who, with the help of her teacher, finds confidence by making her first mark—a single dot—which leads to a journey of self-expression and artistic discovery. Millions of people worldwide participate by engaging in activities that foster these qualities, demonstrating that every individual has a unique potential to make their mark on the world.
