Difficulties in everyday school life can appear, for example, as follows:
• The child may be fast-paced in his actions and games or
on the other hand, slow in transitional situations.
• Waiting for your turn in queuing or game situations can be
difficult.
• The rules of games and playing may not be clear, they don't understand the instructions or do not remember them,
which causes problems in joint activities.
• It may be difficult for the child to put himself in the other's position or to interpret the others'
facial expressions, gestures or words.
• Impulsive behavior can escalate situations quickly.
• For some children, social interaction situations themselves are
burdensome, especially if there are several people in situations at the same time.
• Making eye contact can feel uncomfortable.
There are expectations and ways of working related to interaction between people
make them as concrete as possible – it is not self-evident that
the child understands what kind of behavior is expected of him in different situations.
check the school and classroom rules and behavior expectations and
make them clear to all children and adults.
