I went through all matriculation exams from 2008 till 2019, and only found two letter assignments (2013 and 2015)! It wasn't until 2020 that there was a new letter assignment. This was, however, a motivational letter, which you may or may not have written in course 6.
(please compare this to the next section: Letter to the Editor, which is NOT a regular letter!)
If you have to write an email, use these same rules!
When writing to the President, you would start: Dear Mr. President,
Is Dear Sir/Madam okay to use?
Not really. Dear Sir or Dear Madam may offend your recipient if you’re unsure of their gender or get it wrong. in addition, in today’s technologically connected world, there is (almost) no excuse for not knowing whom you are writing to. (Read more)
REMEMBER TO ADD YOUR NAME AT THE END!
Option 4
Autumn 2022
Opettajan kommentti: puhuttelu kirjeen alussa/lähettäjän nimi lopussa on oltava.
Vähennys 2p jos toinen tai molemmat puuttuvat.
Option 3
Autumn 2020: motivational letter
notes:
Option 2
