The CAS programme requires 4 official interviews. You may meet with your adviser more often than that if needed. This is an overview of the interviews for both students and advisers.
Interview 1 (Fall of DP1)
Student comes to the interview with a plan for CAS for DP1
Student has written Aims & Goals on Managebac
Discussing student's plan for CAS including interests and hobbies
Discussing possible difficulties with the plan (the 3 strands and the 7 outcomes)
Checking that the student knows how to add a new experience on Managebac and knows when and how to document CAS
Interview 2 (DP1)
Group interview (more info from your adviser when time comes)
Sharing ideas
Group discussion
Interview 2 (Fall of DP2)
Checking the student's CAS progress from DP1
Reflections and Evidence
Balance of programme
Project completion/ideas
Discussing possible problems
Creating a plan for DP2
Interview 3 (Spring of DP2)
Student comes to the meeting with a ready list of reflections for each LO. Adviser fills out final interview document during meeting.
Reviewing each of the 7 learning outcomes
Discussing overall CAS experience - what was the best/worst part? What kinds of things did you get to do? What did you learn?
Finishing the CAS programme and signing the form of completion
