Gränna is a tiny town in Jönköping Municipality known for its fruit farming and takes pride in its craftsmanship in food production. During 2022 the town received a protected designation of origin for its “Polkagris”, a candy cane peppermint stick typical for Gränna.
Ribbaskolan is a rural school with levels of education 1-9. From the city's harbour there is also a ferry that travels to the historical island Visingsö, the first home and the cradle of the Swedish kingdom. All together there are 500 students at Ribbaskolan.
