Kuuhankavesi school is a comprehensive school for students aged 7 to 15. There are approximately 350 students in the school. In the same building there is also a upper secondary school and a kindergarten.
Kuuhankavesi school is located in Central Finland region, in a municipality called Hankasalmi. The municipality has a population of about 4500 inhabitants. There are a lot of lakes in Hankasalmi and the name of the school is based on one of the biggest lakes in the region, Kuuhankavesi.
