9 day cycle calendar (Link to be added in August)
This is how your days will look like for your next five years at Massey-Vanier!
A bell will ring to warn you about each transition.
*Be careful, the French side (Val-des-Cerfs) has a different schedule than Massey-Vanier High School. Don't get confused by their bell.
***Due to Covid-19, this year's schedule will have the same room number for all classes. You will saty in the same classroom for all your subjects. Your teachers will be the one changing rooms. ***
This is an example of a Secondary 1 schedule. You will get your own in August.
On it, you will find the name of each of your classes, the name of your teachers and the door number of your classroom.
As you can see, the schedule follows a 9 day cycle. That means you won't always have the same classes from Monday to Friday. You will have to pay attention!
***Due to Covid-19, the after-school sports or clubs might not be running this year. Make sure to visit regularly the MVHS Facebook page to know all the details in regards to the evolution of this dossier***
If you decide to practice an after-school sport, join a club or stay after school for remediation, you might have to take the late bus.
The late buses run every Tuesday and Thursday. You will need to buy a late bus pass at lunch if you are staying after school (it's 5$). You need permission from a staff member to take the late bus, so you cannot simply decide to stay and hang out with your friends after school.
Take a look at the 2019-2020 late bus schedule as an example. This shows you around what time and where you will get home. However, this schedule might not be the same for the 2020-2021 school year.
Everyday, your teacher will read or post the daily announcements. It is important for you to pay attention since it is the official way to share crucial information about sports, clubs and other activities. You can access the Daily Announcements through Google Drive.
Here is an example of last year's Daily Announcement.
