Digital Writing: Digitize the writing process! In this session we will walk through the entire writing process of pre-writing, drafting, editing, revising and publishing using tools that help your students be publishers and creators. Remember, digital writing is not just for English teachers!

Google Classroom: Google Classroom is a new way to make your class more Googley. It wraps up the power of Drive and Google Apps into an easy-to-use package that will save you time and improve the student experience. Best of all it is a student-centered digital space that helps them stay informed, organised, on-task and gives them time to explore projects and assignments more deeply. This is a hands-on session in which you will take on the role of a student or a teacher and participate in your own Google Classroom. Together we will explore possible uses and also provide feedback directly to the Classroom team at Google on how they can make the product better suit our educational needs.

Google Sites: Create! Collaborate! Share! Learn the power of Google Sites! In this session, you will learn how to create a Site for your classroom, as a student portfolio and for professional development.

Assessment Digitally: Come and explore the different options for assessing students and providing feedback in the digital age. We'll explore a few formative assessment tools that will allow you to collect real-time data. We'll also explore Google Forms and Spreadsheet Add-Ons.

K, 1, 2, 3 It's Elementary: In this session we will focus on the ways that K-3 teachers can use technology to enhance learning, reflecting and sharing in their classroom.

Classroom Management in the Digital Age: Teach students how to become responsible thoughtful users of the internet. Browse resources to help plans lessons that teach appropriate and safe use of the web. Engage in conversations about the skills that students need to become digital citizens.

Google Forms: Get ready, get set-- DOC! This session is for the true beginner to Google Forms and is a hands-on session into using Forms in the classroom. We'll share lots of different uses for Forms and why they are going to transform the way you do work in your classroom.

Create, Curate, Collaborate: Visible Thinking with Digital Portfolios: Learn the power of Google Sites! In this session, you will learn how to create Digital Portfolios for your students to showcase their digital work.

Reading and Writing in the Digital Age: In this session we will explore ways that we can integrate technology into Reading and Writing. This session will focus on apps, strategies and tools that could be used in the Elementary Reading and Writing Curriculum. This session will focus on creating and publishing in the Digital world.

Projects with a Purpose! Ignite Student Interest with Google's Applied Digital Skills Curriculum! :Looking for a way to spice up your students’ digital literacy skills? Look no further! Google’s Applied Digital Skills is a free project-based curriculum that equips your students with practical tech skills, including how to make digital presentations, do online research, work with spreadsheets, and more! Through unique challenges and collaborative lessons, your students will engage in real-life problem-solving activities that call upon their creativity and strengthen their knowledge and familiarity of the G Suite apps. Come to this session to experience Applied Digital Skills as a learner and then set up your own class to use with your students. Get an overview of the curriculum and brainstorm ways to personalize it for your classroom. This self-paced, blended learning curriculum is good for middle school and up. Get ready to be inspired! Getting Started with Google Classroom and Blended Learning: Participants will be introduced to using Google Classroom (and integrated Google tools) to expand physical classroom spaces into virtual “always-on” student learning environments. Explore and learn how the core interactions of student to student, student to content, and student to teacher provide the fuel for personalized learning paths providing agency for students to control the pace, place, time and path of their learning.

Digital Writing with the iPad (Elementary): Digitize the writing process with iOS Apps. In this session we will walk through the writing process for 4 different writing projects and also explore other Apps that you can use to publish digital writing across all grade levels. Remember, digital writing is not just for english teachers!

YouTube in the Classroom: In this session we take a look at how we can make YouTube work for you. With a buffet of visual and audio resources at your fingertips we consider how we can integrate these into our schools and classrooms as well as make the most of them. In this session we will discuss the practical aspects of YouTube such as creating your own channel, generating playlists as well as organizing your video data. This session aims to make YouTube less of a scary abyss for the Average Joe and more of a tangible, powerful asset for learning.

Google Search: With such an abundance of information available we need to teach effective search strategies to help our students become digitally literate. This session will help you to learn to FIND information instead of just SEARCH. Google Search lesson plans will also be shared so you can bring this information back to the classroom in a flash.
