If you are a COE or ETS employee, please use this page for information regarding video requests.
Select the correct Google form for your type of request below:
Please only submit ONE request per incident.
If more than one bus is included in an incident, all applicable bus numbers can be added to the same request form.
If there are multiple mSET IDs, or even different types of videos (Station or LRT), they can all be included in the same video request submission.
Possible exceptions that would require an additional request to be submitted
Additional information needs to be provided for the request
Mistakes were submitted in the previous request
Video is required by another individual. Each person who requires footage must submit their own requests.
If you require a copy of the video for viewing, you must check off this option in the request form. If it is not checked off, the footage will only be retained.
Please include all relevant file numbers as this will help us connect any related requests. This also helps us mitigate any potential duplication of videos.
When video is released, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to access the video.
Step by Step mSET Request Procedure
Step by Step mSET Video Review And Retention
After a video is downloaded to mSET, it is available for 14 days.
To avoid the risk of losing footage on mSET, please submit the video request forms as soon as you receive the mSET notification that video is downloaded. VSU retains footage on a separate server for potential future needs.
FAILED to DOWNLOAD or PENDING mSET clip
If you have any issues regarding the requests or downloads of your mSET videos, submit an mSET Issue Report to the Bus Technology team.
Please reach out to bus technology for any questions or issues regarding mSET. Email copsetstscontractor@edmonton.ca
