ARCHIVED WEBSITE from Spring 2020 schools closures due to pandemic. Note: Some content may not be available to students & families after June 2020.
Riddles, brain teasers and logic puzzles! Grab a snack and see how many you can figure out in this week's Family Math Challenge.
I can use unit rates to solve multiplication and division problems. I can also use rates and ratios to solve real-world problems.
You are all doing great and we love hearing from you. Have a great day ~ Your 6th Grade Teachers
I can recognize and solve problems involving proportional relationships in real-world and mathematical situations. I can also represent and interpret results in their original context.
You are all doing great and we love hearing from you. Have a great day ~ Your Pre AP Pre Algebra Teachers
I can find and apply surface area and volume of rectangular prisms.

I can identify, classify and understand operations with polynomials.
It’s your CHOICE! Which 5 will you do?
*You can only do 10 problems per day on IXL’s free account.
3. Fun and Games
Can you escape math class?
Read your mission objective. This is also where you will record the answers to the clues.

Learning Goal:
I can name different solid figures and identify their nets. I can find the surface area of prisms, cylinders, and pyramids.
Learn and Practice:
You will be starting a unit over Surface Area and Volume (we will study Volume next week). Please Print out or open in a seperate tab the Formula Sheet as a reference. You will see many variations of these formulas as you study the material. You can use nets or the formulas to do many of the problems. Choose whatever works best for you.
What is Surface Area? Check out Animation of Surface Area
If you haven’t used Delta Math for Distance learning,go to week 2 on the Dashboard for instructions on how to create your account.
4. Geometry is in the House!
We had so much fun with the Trig Pile Up, we found another one! Put your Pythagorean Theorem skills to the test with this Pile Up! Be sure and check back next week for the solution!
You are all doing great and we love hearing from you. Have a great day ~ Your Geometry Teachers
I can use and define Multiplying Polynomials.
Grab your family members, solve the clues and find the FBI agents to help them solve this case!
You will need to do this from a Non-student device.
If you have questions over this week’s topics and need additional help, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We miss you all! Your Intermediate Algebra Teachers
On Level: I can use and explain exponential growth & decay graphs and models
Pre AP: I am learning the foundational building blocks for Trigonometry
You can do either or both.
You are all doing great and we love hearing from you. Have a great day ~ Your Algebra 2 Teachers
I can solve matrices and use permutations and combinations.

I can begin to identify the components of a personal/family budget (e.g., income, savings/investments, taxes, emergency fund, expenses, and charitable giving) based on short, medium, and long term goals (e.g., financial, personal, educational, and career).
You will be planning a road trip! Over the next 2 weeks you will be researching the necessary components of embarking on a road trip. The guidelines laid out in the document should be followed (click here to get a copy of the planning document).

I can understand and graph polynomial and rational functions. I can identify parts of rational functions and build a rational function from information given.
We will be continuing our use of the polar coordinate plane. Polar coordinates allow us to look at complex numbers in a different fashion. Special thank you goes out to Mrs. Brown from Memorial for doing all of our videos!
Do you know your ABC’s?
We have come to the end of week 4 in our Continuous Learning Plan. Next week we will be continuing with Systems of Equations and Quadratic Functions. Pre AP will be looking into Vectors and Parametrics.
I can solve matrices and use permutations and combinations.
