The mission of the Cheyenne Bands is to develop outstanding young citizens through proper instrumental techniques, music theory, and critical listening.
Attitude: the single greatest factor in determining the success of an individual or organization. A positive attitude toward oneself, one another, and the band as a whole will make the difference between a fine musical group or just a mediocre ensemble.

Steps to successful practice to any skill in life:
Focus on the task at hand, minimize potential distractions.
Start slowly in slow motion - coordination is built with repetitions, GRADUALLY increase the speed.
Frequent repetions with alloted breaks. Could do several mini practice sessions throughout the day.
Practice in your brain, using vivid detail.
