Swedish Edmonds Project SEARCH is a competency based program that addresses the vast unemployment differential for students with learning differences through student directed internships at Swedish Edmonds Hospital in collaboration with the Edmonds School District and other community partners. Our goal is for 100% of students to graduate with a job.
Students & Families fill out an application. Here is the link if the application window is open. Students, please allow your own answers to shine. Assistance is absolutely encouraged as needed. Student voice is critical.
Students & Families: Please include your resume with your submission.
Teachers, please fill out the transition assessment here. Please compare the students' skills to that of a typically developing peer of similar age.
Teachers, please send your student this link to the Brigance Transition Inventory.
If student applications pass the initial screening, they are invited to interview with the interview team INDEPENDENTLY (see qualifications below)
A member of the selection committee will be in touch with specifics.
After interviews, the students receive a letter of acceptance or denial.
Students & Families meet with their Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in the Lynnwood Office to get signed up for DVR.
